About the department
CMC API Development is responsible for process development and pilot production of the Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) in the drug development in Novo Nordisk. CMC API Business Support is a small department of highly skilled people who work across CMC API Development. We plan and execute strategic projects and tasks that aim at increasing the efficiency of the area. We work analytically and data based and support CMC API Management with high quality decision support and solutions.Our projects and assignments vary over time. Currently, we prepare business plans, make business cases, capacity analyses, ensure proper data foundation, improve processes in CMC API Development, as well as operational support to KPIs and other ad hoc tasks.
The Job
As Sr. Business Analyst your role will be divided into two main parts: Finance project management- You will, together with your key stakeholders in the organisation, develop requirement specifications for tools and processes with the aim of improving our financial performance in projects. You will be responsible for implementing the improved processes across the organisation. You will drive and ensure timely attainment of key milestones on your own projects, and also actively contribute in projects led by your colleagues in the department. Financial controlling- One of our key challenges is to ensure high quality budgeting and transparent realisation of production cost of the API to be utilized for clinical trials across Novo Nordisk’s project portfolio. This includes being responsible for driving the processes regarding financial month end closure and budget estimation.The first task will be to establish and implement a robust process for this challenge.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant academic degree and have 3-5 years of practical experience from a similar job preferable in a large organisation. Experience with project management and stakeholder management is a must and further experience with budgeting and controlling processes will be preferred.You have experience with development and implementation of planning and financial tools in complex organisations. Hence you master Excel at super-user level and preferably you also have experience with SAP.As a person you are proactive, independent and like to be challenged. You have excellent people skills and believe that project implementation is equally important as project design.You have a structured way of working, you possess strong analytical skills, and you know how to make even complex problems look simple to yourself and others. You quickly understand your customers’ needs and manage to translate these into sustainable solutions supporting the business.
