About the department
In Purchasing Standard & Analysis we are currently 8 highly dedicated colleagues and we are now looking for an employee with the drive to run various supply chain projects and conduct ad hoc analysis to support the purchasing department as well as management. The team is part of Purchasing in Sourcing Operations, which is responsible for the main part of all Direct Spend Purchase activities in Novo Nordisk Product Supply. The Purchasing Standard & analysis team aims at continuous improvement of supply chain processes involving purchasing through development and anchoring of standards and solutions. To perform its activities the team collaborates closely with production planning, warehousing, quality control, quality assurance and central support functions hence stakeholder and change management will be an integrated part of the position.
The job
As Associate Supply Chain Consultant, you will work in close collaboration with different stakeholders within Novo Nordisk (i.e. production sites, strategic sourcing and the central Supply Chain Management organisation etc.). You will be be responsible for ensuring and developing a stable supply chain in smaller improvement projects e.g. within inventory management or replenishment models. You will also be responsible for making service level agreements in close collaboration with purchasers in the organisation and locally on the production sites. Additionally, you will participate in larger cross functional projects where you will help ensure that the interest of the purchasing organization are represented. Lastly, you will produce ad hoc detailed analysis with the aim of supporting the management’s decision-making.
Qualifications
You have an academic degree within Economics, Engineering or Supply Chain Management and 0-2 years of purchasing or supply chain experience. You are fluent in both English and Danish. Furthermore, you should have strong analytical capabilities and a keen interest in stakeholder management. Working with data and the use of IT should come naturally to you. Experience with SAP is an advantage. As a person you have a positive mindset and are open towards other people and new ideas. You work independently and you like a dynamic environment with many simultaneous tasks and changing priorities, while managing strict deadlines.
