About the department
Moulding Support handle all operational support activities, in the area injection moulding on prefilled pen systems. Our main task is to ensure a high quality level, through stable and uniform processes, among our worldwide production sites.
The job
As Associate Manager for the Moulding Support FlexPen® team you will join our management team in Moulding Support which consists of a department manager and one other associate manager. You will also join a large management group in DMS with a dedicated continuous focus on developing you own leadership skills through training, sparring and reflection. You work closely with the managers from own department and have a good collaboration with stakeholders in the rest of DMS as well as the four external production sites in order to secure the right focus on quality and on time delivery of products and projects.
You and your team will be responsible for supporting and securing stable processes in injection moulding of FlexPen® devices for our customers (DFP and Biopharm). This responsibility covers supporting processes through re-validation, review of documentation, handling quality incidents, non-conformities and improving quality levels through process maintenance, optimisation and standardisation. You will be responsible for developing the team of 12 employees; build on team spirit, conduct daily operational board meetings, excellence in continuous improvement, systematic problem solving and ensure efficient handling of the necessary corrective and preventive actions. You will strengthen the team’s ability to prioritize the amount of actions which have to be handled in order to achieve the organisational goals and secure patient safety, compliance and product quality. The job will require 10-20 travel days pr. year.
Qualifications
You either have an academic degree within a relevant field of expertise or have a solid working experience within injection moulding operations management and especially production in a GMP environment. Ideally, you have 3-5 years of management experience and proven strong leadership skills the ability to inspire and motivate others and to empower your team members to deliver excellent results. You have a strong lean mind-set and an ability to facilitate complicated problem solving and to find the right root causes. Additionally, you are well-organised, good at analysing and you approach challenges in a logical manner. You are also keen on finding practical solutions and executing the necessary actions to secure progress. You have the ability to prioritise and plan ahead, while keeping focus in achieving the goals. Lastly, you are fluent in both written and spoken English on a professional level.
