Job Description PURPOSE:
Accountable to lead the operations and implementation of Digital and Healthcare Professional (HCP) Relationship Marketing (RM) initiatives to achieve key brand & company objectives. Responsible to develop and coordinate Center of Excellence (COE) area strategies and tactics based on brand/portfolio strategy as well as “operations” vendor management. Utilize Appature Nexus to establish campaign target segments and coding to capture results. Ensures initiatives are document, are aligned to key managed markets and brand strategies prior to implementation. Acts as the expert and strategist for digital and HCP RM operations; ensuring brand/portfolio alignment. Partners with HCP RM brand leads and other stakeholders. Identifies key
metrics and evaluates ROI/impact of programs; collaborates with brand teams in making course corrections if needed. Acts as the leader and point person for tactical execution within designated segments and in the management of vendors to execute from an “operational” perspective the initiatives.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports to the Senior Manager, Digital Operations. Directly supports the HCP RM leads. Interacts with all Brand Marketing functions, working in close collaboration with Brand Leads, other COEs, IT and vendors. Other internal relationships include Managed Markets, Market Shaping, Commercial Effectiveness, CorporateCommunications and Public Affairs, Sales, and Legal. Will also interact with NN A/S on “Global” digital marketing initiatives and outside organizations as required.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
CUSTOMER DATABASE MANAGEMENT – HCP RM dB: Maintain integration of all existing customer data from various touch points into the centralized prescriber promotional database including all required documentation.
CUSTOMER DATABASE MANAGEMENT – HCP RM dB: Manage relationships with external vendors to ensure that data is received in appropriate format, in a timely fashion and loaded into database.
CUSTOMER DATABASE MANAGEMENT – HCP RM dB: Provide direction on strategy development for maximizing the use of and return to Novo Nordisk for customer data for all programs implemented across brand teams and stakeholder groups.:
CUSTOMER DATABASE MANAGEMENT – HCP RM dB: Work with fulfillment vendors or agencies of record to implement new programs.
DIGITAL OPERATIONS: Act as a subject matter expert in selected/responsible areas of focus serving as a lead for industry norms, vendor capabilities and competitive insights.
DIGITAL OPERATIONS: Develop, contribute, maintain, document and follow all digital and HCP RM processes required to execute campaigns and initiatives.
DIGITAL OPERATIONS: Explore and identify new capabilities and develop business cases for adoption by NNI.
DIGITAL OPERATIONS: Manage the relationship with selected digital/HCP RM agencies or vendors ensuring contractual and financial obligations are being met.
HCP RM MARKETING PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND
MONITORING: Identify appropriate measurements & ROI, and develop comprehensive reporting to evaluate effectiveness of on line marketing campaigns with regard to format, placement and creative employed for each campaign.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Assist in developing in depth knowledge of relevant HCP customers including demographic profile, channel & content preferences as basis for relationship marketing program development & execution.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Assist in developing integrated, multi-channel communications strategies and tactics to drive healthcare professionals to NNI customer touch points, both on-line and off-line.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Assure compliance with all NNI policies, guidelines and Corporate Visual Identity standards.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Ensure brand/portfolio alignment with customer segments (Payors, Patient Marketing, KOL & Speakers).
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Identify opportunities to coordinate programs across multiple brands/portfolio to ensure scalability, cost savings and alignment. Utilize Appature Nexus capabilities and develop Center of Excellence approach to advance NNIs capabilities and grow the ability for NNI to innovate in executing effective customer experiences.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Maintain project vendor partners, budgets, schedules, testing and quality components including but not limited to all necessary documentation.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: May Lead and/or participate in key digital or HCP RM governance activities.
HCP RM PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT, IMPLEMENTATION, PROMOTION AND MONITORING: Subject matter expert in utilizing the NNI HCP RM Appature application to establish new campaign plans and set up new campaign elements. Utilize new coding methodology to enable the capture of internal and third party campaign element responses and completed calls to action.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Less than 20% overnight travel

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
A Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, IT, or related field required. Advanced degree preferred.
A minimum of 5 years of relationship, direct or database marketing experience demonstrating a steady career progression with increasing role of responsibility.
Extensive knowledge and experience in designing and implementing project plans.
Familiar with relational database structures and database management applications.
Pharmaceutical industry experience preferred.
Planning, Execution and Follow-Up- effectively prioritizes and spends his/her time and the time of others on what is important. Develops accurate short and long term plans, forecasting and business analysis. Ensures timely execution and follow-up. Meets deadlines. Anticipates problems and roadblocks to avoid crisis management.
The ability to think analytically, evaluate data and develop programs to test the effectiveness of tactics.
