About the department
In Purchasing Standards & Analysis we are currently 8 colleagues and we are now looking for student assistant with the drive to run various supply chain analyses and reporting as well as smaller improvement projects within inventory management. The team is part of Purchasing in Sourcing Operations, which is responsible for the main part of all Direct Spend Purchase activities in Novo Nordisk Product Supply. To perform its activities the team collaborates closely with production planning, warehousing, quality control, quality assurance and central support functions.
The Job
Your primary job task will be to support the operational purchasing teams with reports and ad hoc analysis. You will also assist our project managers on the supply chain optimization projects that we run in the team. As a student assistant in Novo Nordisk you get the opportunity to learn more about the pharmaceutical industry and our business areas. You will have the chance to put your theoretical supply chain management knowledge into practice while you at the same time gain industry experience and build an invaluable network of talented colleagues in the organisation.
Qualifications
You are studying a Bachelor or Master degree within Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or alike.
We expect you to be professional, engaged and to show a high degree of independence as well as flexibility. You should have strong analytical capabilities, interest in working with supply chain optimization projects and the ability to keep deadlines. Furthermore working with data in excel as well as VBA programming should come naturally to you.
