Job Description Position Purpose:
Responsible for engineering design, troubleshooting, implementation, and oversight of preventive/predictive maintenance activities of facilities technicians. The core responsibility is to ensure stability and reliability of equipment, buildings & utilities, and achieve a high level of operational efficiencies as it relates to energy savings and operational costs.
Education: BS in Mechanical,
Electrical or Chemical Engineering
Experience: 5-7 years engineering experience in a manufacturing facility. Knowledge and experience in the operations, maintenance, and design of cGMP utilities as well as working in a regulated environment (FDA, cGMP, OSHA).
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge: Knowledgeable in utilities systems, to include WFI, chilled water, clean steam, electrical, process air and HVAC systems.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in confined spaces and near operating equipment.
Ability to work in loud noise environments
Ability to travel internationally. Ability to work hours necessary to support production and maintenance activities.
