Job Description PURPOSE
Responsible for the management of all aspects of design, development, delivery and evaluation of a Compliance Training Curriculum applying to all US employee functions in US headquarters as well as manufacturing, research and engineering activities in the US. The Curriculum builds and enhances compliance focus at an individual and organizational level as a means to help maintain a robust Compliance Program.

RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to the Associate Director, Compliance. Interacts daily with other Compliance staff, IT, Quality, Legal, Field Sales, Field Medical and external consultants supporting Novo Nordisk.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Acquire and maintain expertise in training methods, as well as technical, product and competitive knowledge.
• Establish and manage training objectives for all employees of Novo Nordisk in the US and relevant external parties. This includes but is not limited to training on interactions with patients, patient organizations, healthcare organizations and healthcare professionals, with a focus on the Anti-kickback Statute, the False Claims Act, FDA rules and regulations regarding the promotion of pharmaceuticals, OIG guidelines, the PhRMA Code and other relevant voluntary guidelines.
• Design, development, deliver, and evaluate a fundamental training curriculum for relevant internal and external personnel.
• Create and maintain standards and procedural documentation related to training.
• Develop and deliver live training and presentations for audiences at all levels of the organization.
• Effective time management skills. Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Manage budget, strategy and delivery for all training programs.
• Contribute to the preparation of Novo Nordisk Inc. Corporate Integrity Agreement reports and Independent Review Organization activities associated with the collection and reporting of various compliance data points.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 15 to 20 % overnight travel

DEVELOPMENT OF PEOPLE:
• Ensure that reporting personnel have 3P and IDP forms with annual goals and measurements that are consistent with the priorities of the business, and that interim reviews are held so that their work is focused on those priorities, and they understand their level of accountability for results and the measurement process.
• Ensure that the 3P forms include completed Learning and Aspiration plans and are in place for all reporting personnel to enable the achievement of goals and capability to assume increased levels of responsibility.
• Manage the application and communication of all Novo Nordisk policies, procedures, and Novo Nordisk Way.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• A Bachelor’s degree required
• Instructional design (or other training experience) a plus
• At least six (6) or more years of pharmaceutical experience; preferably compliance and/or training
• Excellent interpersonal/presentation/communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software.
• Ability to effectively plan, prioritize, execute and follow-up in a timely manner and anticipate problems and roadblocks
• Proven track record of producing results
• Experience working under a CIA is preferred
• Uncompromising ethics and high standard of personal integrity
