Highly professional and well implemented IT quality assurance is a key to success with IT for Novo Nordisk A/S. For our IT QA Office department we are looking for an Advanced IT Quality Advisor (IT QA) to join our team of 14 IT QAs, who are ensuring that Novo Nordisk is complying with quality requirements for our corporate IT systems, projects and infrastructure.
About the department
IT QA Office is part of the IT Governance area under Corporate IT in Novo Nordisk A/S, which employs approximately 300 highly skilled IT professionals in Denmark and India. IT QA Office is responsible for IT quality assurance of strategic IT systems, projects and infrastructure used globally in Novo Nordisk. The department also serves as competence center for IT quality assurance throughout Novo Nordisk.
Challenges
The job
As Advanced IT Quality Advisor, you will be responsible for quality assurance of one or more corporate IT systems and projects. This covers activities ranging from advising on quality planning, approving quality related deliverables, to the release of the system for use in Novo Nordisk and the subsequent operation and maintenance hereof. The work requires close collaboration with the system or project management teams and stakeholders in line of business.
You will also be taking part in implementing Novo Nordisk IT Governance strategy, including development and implementation of quality transparency initiatives and the continued development of the IT QA competence center in the virtual IT QA organisation in Novo Nordisk. Furthermore, you will be involved in the preparation of procedures and guidelines, development of global IT processes and teaching selected topics, and in offering support to resolve quality management, validation and compliance issues globally.
Qualifications
The position requires significant insight into key IT processes, e.g. software engineering, quality management, project management, change and configuration management, IT security, risk management, testing and auditing. The Advanced IT Quality Advisor should also demonstrate solid insight into business processes, e.g. logistics or manufacturing. It would be preferred, if you have experience with quality and project management.
We expect you to take full ownership for your work and have a strong sense for meeting objectives and deliver high quality. It is important that you thrive with stakeholder interaction and are able to present complex matters in a clear and precise way. Yoy are considered an enthusiastic and committed team player, and enjoy working in a dynamic, international environment with tight deadlines while maintaining a good sense of humour. Finally, you hold a degree in a relevant subject, preferably with a strong IT substance, and have at least 5 years’ experience from similar positions. Finally, you must be fluent in written and spoken English.
