About the department
Facility Management is part of Corporate Finance. We are responsible for space management of administrative buildings and other facility related services throughout Novo Nordisk in Denmark. Facility Management consists of 88 employees and is responsible for approximately 1.000 outsourced positions within its area of responsibility. The finance department in Facility Management currently consists of nine people with various backgrounds. Our work atmosphere is relaxed, with expectations for solid and dedicated performance.
The Job
As Business Controller, your work tasks will include being responsible for performing, driving and developing the monthly closing and internal reporting as well as participating in performing, driving and developing our budget process. You will additionally be responsible for the financial controlling of one of our departments with support from a student assistant. Examples of work tasks: consolidation and finalisation of internal reporting, consolidation and finalisation of business plans, monthly challenge meetings with focus on financial business partnering, financial systems development and maintenance, monthly closing, challenge of monthly results, re-evaluation of latest estimate and establishment of variance explanations.
Further, you will participate in cross-functional projects as well as ad hoc financial analysis.
Qualifications
We expect you have completed a relevant degree (i.e. in finance, economics or engineering) with excellent results. We further require you to actively have participated and played a vital role in internal reporting and budgeting in a medium- or large-sized company for a minimum of two years.
We will pay a lot of attention to your interest and understanding of financial systems and Microsoft Excel. Experience with a major financial system is a requirement and SAP is an advantage. Our financial environment is technically challenging.
You have strong analytical skills and show a strong sense of responsibility, fully owning your work tasks while driving performance and continuous improvement.
In addition to being fluent in written and spoken Danish and English, you should also be a proficient user of IT tools and ready to invest both time and efforts in your personal and professional development.
