Do you want to join a team of highly engaged colleagues of medical specialists responsible for developing the Novo Nordisk GLP-1 & Obesity project portfolio? Medical & Science, GLP-1 & Obesity is seeking a new colleague to take up a position as Medical Manager / Director.

About the department
Medical & Science, GLP-1 & Obesity, located in Soeborg, Copenhagen, is responsible for the medical and scientific development of the GLP-1 & Obesity portfolio.

In collaboration with our stakeholders, we generate the Clinical Development Plans (CDP), provide medical deliverables to Trial Outlines, protocols, Clinical Trial Reports and Paediatric Investigation Plans. Furthermore, we focus on providing input to the Product Business Plans, Strategic Project Plans and other business activities where core medical competences are requested such as medical support for health authority interactions and regulatory approvals.

The job
In the role as International Medical Manager / Director you will be involved in the planning and execution of phase 1-4 studies. The role is broad and depending on the assigned projects you will be instrumental in implementing clinical development and regulatory strategies for drug candidates.

You will be involved in writing Clinical Development Plans and executing and reporting clinical studies. It is also a responsibility to provide medical deliverables to Paediatric Investigation Plans and close interactions with health authorities and key opinion leaders will be an integrated part of the job.

Qualifications
We are looking for a medical qualified physician with a medical degree including scientific or clinical training. Experience within drug development from diabetes or obesity will be an advantage. Previous experience from the pharmaceutical industry and experience from clinical development work, interaction with regulatory authorities e.g. scientific advice, IND or NDA submissions will also be an advantage.

Interaction with internal and external experts require proficiency in English, high communication, coordination and planning capacities, as well as flexibility and a keen sense of quality. You may expect to travel approximately 20 days per year.
