The job is in team Column packing.
The job
Optimisation and root cause analysis:
Overall, your job is to ensure that the team delivers HPLC columns in the right quality and timely, and to build a strong applied and scientific knowledge base about chromatography media and columns. You contribute with your chemistry skill and apply a data based analytical approach and LEAN tools for systematic problem solving in order to identify root cause and establish preventive actions and technical improvements. You lead projects and implement optimisations applying statistical tools and design of experiments (DOE) in close collaboration with our customers and academic partners where relevant.
Qualifications
Coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery:
You keep a general overview and help prioritise the tasks, as well as you coordinate with stakeholders through the entire phase from order over packing to delivery. You prepare development reports and other scientific, technical, and quality documentation.
If you have an emerging leadership talent, this could be an opportunity to nourish it in an environment where team development is at the top of the agenda. The department relies on strong team performances to ensure timely and high quality deliveries.
Laboratory experience, quality-oriented and impact:
You could be a Chemist or Chemical Engineer or similar, preferably with a Ph.D, and with profound knowledge of chemical reactions, silylation, column packing or chromatography. In your career you have gained chemistry laboratory experience (+3 years) and become conversant with the role of the supplier. As such, you are used to dealing with internal and external customers, and you have a service-minded attitude and good networking skills. In combination this enables you to build lasting relations across a large organisation. Moreover, you never compromise on quality, and you have the impact to stand firm e.g. if you believe a request might jeopardise the standards. You thrive on taking the lead, and at the same time you are a good team player who enjoys contributing with your share to enhance the team’s performance. If your experience includes LEAN, project management, quality control or chromatography, it will benefit your application. Nevertheless, you must be able to speak and write in both Danish and English.
