Job Description Position Purpose:
Ensure calibrations are planned, scheduled, and prepared for implementation on-schedule and in accordance with cGMPs, NNPII and corporate requirements. Provide support for measuring equipment projects and work packages site-wide.
Education: Associates Degree or equivalent industrial, military or vocational training.
Experience: 3 – 5 years maintenance experience in pharmaceutical industry
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge: Competence in the following areas: Metrology, Instrumentation and Controls, Electro-Mechanical systems, and Electronics. In addition, experience with schematics, wiring diagrams and other technical documents. Familiarity with Compressed Air, Steam, Chilled Water, Pharmaceutical Utilities, Filling, Formulation, Sterilization, Water Purification, and Packaging.
Excellent computer skills to include: SAP and most Microsoft applications.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. with assistance.
Ability to work in confined spaces and near operating equipment. Ability to travel internationally.
Ability to work hours necessary to support shift production.
Corrected vision to 20/30.
