Job Description Position Purpose:
Perform Microbiology testing, sampling and laboratory support in accordance with cGMP, site and corporate procedures and policies.
Education: AA degree in a scientific field or relevant experience.
Experience:Minimum experience is 2 years in a laboratory with an AA degree or 3 years relevant experience
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
•Knowledgeable in basic laboratory techniques. Ability to perform work in accordance with established procedures and policies.
•Proficient in all testing requirements of department
•Must demonstrate attention to detail, proofreading and strong computer skills with a willingness to learn new IT applications.
•Good communication skills (verbal and written).
Physical Requirements:
Able to work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
Corrected vision to 20/30 , Able to lift 25 Lbs. with assistanceAble to work extended hours (including weekends) to support manufacturing operations.
Ability to wear protective equipment, including respirators
Ability to perform work standing for long periods of time
