We are seeking an engaged and dedicated Senior Project Manager with strong communication skills and marketing expertise to join the Global Marketing team and drive the continued success of NovoRapid®.
About the department
The position is based in Copenhagen, Denmark, reporting to the Global Marketing VP for NovoRapid®, FIAsp and Changing Diabetes.
You will join a team responsible for leading the global brand strategies for NovoRapid®, define key tactics and support affiliates in execution to secure continued growth and profitability of NovoRapid®. You will be part of the Modern Insulin & Device franchise which currently drives a large part of Novo Nordisk diabetes growth, in collaboration with teams working with other existing and future Novo Nordisk diabetes products.
The job
You will be a brand champion and bring innovation and creativity to the team working on this strategic brand. Mastering the understanding of the market place and product disease state, you will be an integral part of the team that drives the development and implementation of the global marketing strategy for NovoRapid®, including internal communication of the strategy and implementation. You will be expected to develop and drive marketing initiatives and programmes to ensure the continued leadership position of NovoRapid®.
In your day-to-day work you will work cross functionally with a wide array of functions including Global Medical Affairs, Regulatory and Global Development, as well as other Global Brand Teams and colleagues in affiliates/regions to ensure collaboration, alignment and drive long-term success. You will also be responsible for aligning strategies with the key markets and global marketing colleagues for new brands. In order to execute the job successfully, you will require subject matter expertise on competition and relevant counter-strategies, and create and implement structured processes to ensure effective cooperation and understanding between global and affiliate stakeholders. You will be expected to influence, challenge and collaborate with key stakeholders, both in headquarters and with affiliates.
Qualifications
You will be a team player, who lives the Novo Nordisk Way, and demonstrates high level marketing competency. You will hold a University degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Medicine or any other relevant degree and have more than 5 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
The role will require significant marketing experience in a similar position, with a strong track record of success. The ideal candidate has significant insights into the global diabetes market and experience from an affiliate.
You have experience both with development of marketing strategies and key tactics, and with implementation and execution of these. You bring with you creativity and strong stakeholder management skills together with a desire to further improve our Changing Diabetes® programmes and their impact for patients and Novo Nordisk.
You will have outstanding project management, networking and communication skills and experience in managing and leading projects across multi-disciplinary groups.
We expect a strong analytical and creative mindset, an excellent command of written and spoken English, and a willingness to travel.
