About the department
You will head the well-established Business processes team within Product Supply IT consisting of currently 4 skilled senior employees having solid competencies within project management and business support (e.g. logistics and production). The department supports projects in IT and automation across Novo Nordisk globally with project management and specific business knowledge. One of your tasks will be to grow the team to approx. 10 people during 2014 first half year and to finalise the department business plan and long term strategy. In this you will have the opportunity to influence the direction and scope of your team.

The Job
Your overall focus is to handle the role as dedicated and inspiring people manager for your team and at the same time function as Senior Project Manager for a large, business critical and global project in the area of product track and tracing called GSP.

The GSP project is ensuring licence to operate in critical markets. The task is to install an in-line serialisation solution on many packaging lines across all production sites (including site IT) and alternative solutions for low volume products. You will also implement a solution to cover the contract manufacturing operations and a solution for all new local markets requiring serialisation. The project is well on its way and has a well-established project team with project managers on each production sites.

Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree within management, economics, science or similar backed by high-level project management education/certification – and solid experience as Project Manager from GxP regulated manufacturing environments. You have knowledge within logistics processes and you are used to handle LEAN training and implement LEAN principles in a production context. Your career has also provided you with at least 3 years’ experience as people manager with focus on change management. This makes you capable of assembling and leading strong performing teams.

To succeed, you will need excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in order to coordinate and drive processes across 5-6 sites all over the globe. This also takes a well-founded understanding of intercultural and professional diversities and legal requirements. Approximately 50 days of travelling per year must be expected.
