Business Intelligence and Data-mining is a growing focus area within internal audit and compliance monitoring in most industries, including the pharmaceutical sector where these tools and techniques are supporting an effective and timely approach to compliance and audit challenges. Group Internal Audit is looking for a new member to our dedicated data-mining team.
About the Department
Group Internal Audit is a department consisting of 18 dynamic people representing eight different nationalities. We are responsible for providing assurance to senior management and the Audit Committee on compliance with IT, Finance and Business Ethics requirements.
The job
We offer an exciting and challenging job that will provide you with an inside perspective to Novo Nordisk’s business processes and give you a network throughout the organisation. The wide range of interesting assignments are primarily related to preparing and delivering data analysis to support our audit activities, as well as responding to ad-hoc management requests from our headquarters in Denmark and international business areas.
As member of a newly established function you will also be involved in cross-disciplinary projects where you will have the opportunity to take an active role in the implementation and development of new tools and techniques within data analytics and business intelligence.
The position is based at our headquarters in Copenhagen (Denmark) and on average 20 hours weekly. Working with our team, you will obtain an exceptional insight into the global business operations and principles of the Novo Nordisk group. You will build a strong global network to increase your skill set and enabling strong development opportunities in Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
You possess a bachelor or diploma and are currently studying a master degree within IT, Accounting, business intelligence or similar. You are motivated by working both as part of a team and on projects independently. You have strong analytical skills, a flair for IT combined with a proactive mind-set. Other key personal qualifications include a high level of energy, good sense of humour and the ability to stay focused while working under pressure. You are fluent in written and spoken English and proficient with IT-tools.
