About the department
IM1 Business Support Project team is part of Insulin Manufacturing 1 with 370 employees in Kalundborg. Our challenge is an increasing amount of projects in a complex and highly regulated area and we are seeking a Project employee to be part of the team. Novo Nordisk in Kalundborg is a city within a city. The area is located an hour from Copenhagen and covers 1,350,000 m2, incl. private roads. We produce approx. 50% of the world's insulin. We are at the forefront in technology, systems, methods and processes.
The job
We offer a job with tasks in technical support for both operations and projects, and preparation of documentation including records and reports dealing with external suppliers, obtaining prices for supplies and purchases, etc. You advise and serve chemists and specialists in commissioning of equipment and plants, process optimization and validation. We constantly focus on quality. Therefore, we continuously work to ensure high quality supported by ongoing documentation of our project work. It is for example your job to make sure that the project deliverables meet quality and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
You have a background as an engineer, mechanical engineer or equivalent and knowledge of unit operations in a manufacturing facility as well as components (valves, pumps, instrumentations, pipe specifications etc.). It is an advantage but not a requirement that you have experience with GMP. As a person you are able to work in a structured and quality-focused way. Furthermore, you are able to cooperate with various professional groups, and therefore good communication skills and an outgoing approach is a requirement. The tasks will be distributed at the desk and in the production and it comes naturally to you to prioritize your tasks to complete them on time while focusing on quality and level of detail.
At Novo Nordisk, we strive to be the best. We are a world leader in diabetes care and a major player in the treatment of bleeding, treatment with growth hormone therapy and hormone therapy. Therefore, we can offer our employees a strong professional development.
