Requisition ID 45192BR<br/>Title INTERNSHIP: Manufacturing Sciences & Analytical Technology<br/>Job Category Student & Internship<br/>Job Description PURPOSE: The 2017 Manufacturing Sciences and Analytical Technology (MSAT) Summer Intern will participate in the projects of the MSAT Analytical Group, so as to contribute to reaching the goals of the MSAT Department.<br/><br/>The goals of the internship will include the training of the Student on analytical instruments and methods (and on applicable modules), so as to perform analytical experiments and contribute to the production of therapeutic proteins on site.<br/><br/>RELATIONSHIPS:<br/><br/>Reports to: Director, MSAT and Scientist<br/><br/>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br/>* Perform analytical experiments in the MSAT Laboratory (including the training on analytical methods)<br/>* Purchase of reagents and material<br/>* Setup of analytical instruments<br/>* Analysis of samples with analytical methods<br/>* Record data in Laboratory Notebooks<br/>* Presentation of experimental results<br/>* Provide support to Manufacturing and Quality Control projects, including PPQ for turoctocog and turoctocog alfa pegol and somapacitan production start up on site<br/>* Other duties as assigned.<br/><br/>KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS<br/>* Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Sciences, e.g. Biochemistry, Bioengineering, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, etc.<br/><br/>* Knowledge of HPLC/UPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, ForteBio Technology preferred.<br/>* Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task<br/>* Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers<br/>* Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn<br/>* Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint<br/>* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.<br/><br/>Department NNUSBPI - MFG SCIENCE & ANALYTICAL TECH<br/>Position Location US - Lebanon, NH<br/>City West Lebanon<br/>State/Provinces US - NH
