Requisition ID 45167BR<br/>Title INTERNSHIP: Supply Chain and Procurement<br/>Job Category Student & Internship<br/>Job Description PURPOSE:<br/><br/>Intern will perform tactical and project based duties in a multi-faceted Procurement and Materials department. Duties will include involvement in Request for Quotations, purchase requisition processing, delivery scheduling, and supplier contact. Materials duties will include data collection and analysis, inventory management, material movement and cycle counting, stock put away, picking for internal customers and other projects.<br/><br/>RELATIONSHIPS:<br/><br/>Reports to: Sr. Manager, Supply Chain and EH&S<br/><br/>ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<br/>* Process requisitions and perform purchase order maintenance as directed by buyers<br/>* Attend staff meetings<br/>* Coordinate or attend project or problem solving meetings<br/>* Participate in periodic warehouse cycle counts and record keeping<br/>* Conduct data collection and analysis on item usage and participate in service level improvement work<br/>* Participate in preparation for inspection “readiness” – assistance with CAPA action items<br/>* Perform warehouse transactional functions<br/>* Other duties as assigned.<br/><br/>KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS<br/>* Education Level: Bachelors/Masters degree in business or industrial engineering<br/>* Desire to pursue EH&S as a career<br/>* Rising Sophomore or above<br/>* Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers<br/>* Additional exposure to companywide ERP/MRP systems preferred.<br/>* Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn<br/>* Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint<br/>* Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.<br/><br/>Nothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.
