Ready to use your packaging experience and knowledge in R&D in Novo Nordisk A/S? We are looking for an engaging and dynamic packaging engineer with flair for both packaging development and packaging processes to our Secondary Packaging and User Communication team.
About the department
We are a group of highly skilled and dedicated employees, who share a passion for secondary packaging and transportation systems. It is our responsibility to maintain the existing packaging platform, develop new packaging solutions, develop internal transportation systems and prepare and maintain technical specifications. We are a part of the Competence Centre at Device R&D located in Hillerød.
The job
As a packaging engineer you will participate in device development projects being responsible for our secondary packaging development. Your tasks will include development of packaging concepts and definition of material specifications in the early development phases as well as establishment of testing programmes and participation in hazard and risks analyses in the later phases. As we are responsible for maintenance of existing packaging you will manage or participate in different type of LCM or improvement projects and provide sparring to our packaging production sites. Your working day will be very dynamic with many different types of activities cooperating with a wide range of internal customers and dedicated experts within Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
You hold a technical or scientific degree at minimum Bachelor’s level. Besides that you have worked with packaging development for at least three years. Knowledge of requirements for medical device packaging will be an advantage. You have experience within several of the following topics: Packaging development, automatic packaging processes, AutoCAD/Creo, injection moulding, shipping equipment and processes, user driven innovation and lean.
You are a strong team player recognised for your interpersonal skills, your collaborative attitude and technical competences. You combine theory and practise and know how to apply your knowledge to develop packaging design and solve practical problems. Your analytical and structured approach combined with your innovative and curious mind-set help you both in brainstorming and problem solving situations. You communicate fluently in English. Finally you are capable of handling and solving numerous tasks simultaneously, working in an international and dynamic environment.
