Automation Engineer
- Production
- Denmark - Gentofte
Is automation your ball game, and are you ready to use your skills in a automatic production plant? If so, you could be our new colleague in Novo Nordisk Biopharm Tablets & Finished Products department in Gentofte.
About the department
Biopharm T&FP Finished Products employs 100 colleagues in 5 teams, and you will be part of the Support team. Here you will have 12 professional and highly qualified colleagues. The department is responsible for packaging NovoSeven® and Glucagen®. Join us in supporting people to live their life as they want it.
The job
You will be our new Automation Engineer and your overall purpose is to secure optimal stability and thereby enable us to ensure a high quality level, increase the output, reduce costs, and secure a continuous process flow. You will be responsible for maintenance, optimization and troubleshooting of our automated packaging equipment which includes support to the production, preparation and updating of documentation. In addition, you will contribute to perform change requests and validations when needed and ensure handling of non-conformities. Another important part of your job will be to participate in relevant internal and external audits regarding our packaging line.
Qualifications
Your educational background covers a M.Sc. or B.Sc in technical science, automation, IT or similar. Besides, you have experience with documentation in a GMP driven production environment (i.e. pharmaceutical, chemical or food industries). All in all you have a sound insight into the pharmaceutical industry and have a clear idea of the demands in a packaging line. Quality is key for us, and you must have a solid understanding for cGMP and ISO and be willing to go the extra mile to observe and stick to the regulations. You are outspoken as a person, and you thrive in a role where you handle many requests and activities at the same time. You are meticulous and have a systematic approach to your work, and you know that the best results are generated in association with your colleagues – although you are confident solving challenges on your own. As Novo Nordisk A/S is an international company, it is required that you have a good grasp of English and Danish, both spoken and written.
In Novo Nordisk it is your skills, your commitment and your ambitions, which helps us to improve many people's lives. In return we offer you the opportunity to work with exceptionally talented colleagues, and we offer you a wide range of opportunities for professional and personal development.
