Job Description Position Purpose:
Manage and maintain calibration standards and specifications process in accordance with cGMP, site/corporate procedures, policies, and business needs.
Education: BS degree in related engineering or science discipline or equivalent (experience + education)
Experience:
7+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
5+ years experience in metrology in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Experience in planning maintenance and/or calibration activities
Experience investigating OOT results
Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
Demonstrated expertise in measurement instrumentation theory and method development..
Demonstrated expertise in calibrating pharmaceutical instrumentation
Working knowledge of GMPs, corporate, and site level requirements and procedures
Demonstrated ability to write technical documents and reports
Demonstrated ability to present technical information to others
Physical Requirements:
Able to work with hazardous materials and able to lift 50 lbs with assistance. Able to work extended hours to support laboratory operations
