Job Description Position Purpose:
Manage and maintain calibration standards and specifications process in accordance with cGMP, site/corporate procedures, policies, and business needs.

Education: BS degree in related engineering or science discipline or equivalent (experience + education)

Experience:
7+ years experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
5+ years experience in metrology in pharmaceutical manufacturing
Experience in planning maintenance and/or calibration activities
Experience investigating OOT results

Technical/Process/Functional Knowledge:
Demonstrated expertise in measurement instrumentation theory and method development..
Demonstrated expertise in calibrating pharmaceutical instrumentation
Working knowledge of GMPs, corporate, and site level requirements and procedures
Demonstrated ability to write technical documents and reports
Demonstrated ability to present technical information to others

Physical Requirements:
Able to work with hazardous materials and able to lift 50 lbs with assistance. Able to work extended hours to support laboratory operations
