About the department
The pipeline of potential new products in Novo Nordisk R&D is continuously growing creating a corresponding growth in the portfolio of clinical trials. Our main and most important task in Clinical Supplies Coordination is to ensure that trial products are available on time and in the right quality and quantity for all clinical trials conducted globally by Novo Nordisk. In order to meet Novo Nordisk’s ambitious goals within diabetes, haemophilia and other chronic diseases, we are furthermore working with reducing our product waste, to shorten our lead time and optimise the use of resources by means of various LEAN tools. We are around 50 people in Clinical Supplies Coordination and are located at Novo Nordisk site Måløv. The department is divided in 4 teams (Diabetes Planning, Diabetes Logistics, Biopharm Planning and Biopharm Logistics).

The job
As Team Leader of the Diabetes Logistics Team, you will be heading up a team of around 10 dedicated people responsible for the complex clinical supply chain. The core processes are planning how much trial product to pack and when it is needed, developing the distribution strategy to make sure we do not run out of medication on any depots and clinics around the world, and providing input to the specification of the medication management system (IV/WRS). You will accomplish this in close collaboration with stakeholders across the world and furthermore ensure that tight deadlines of the final phase of the development projects are met.

Your responsibility is to drive and follow up on performance, support resolution of operational issues, foster continuous improvements of our processes, development of employees and last but not least the wellbeing of your team. You have to secure that we always deliver on time and in the right quality. You will be an active part of regular board meetings, systematic problem solving and you work closely with the team leaders from own department and the rest of the clinical supply chain, securing an end to end mindset and a holistic approach to solving the complex task of delivering products to clinical trials.We offer a challenging job with exciting future development opportunities and the possibility to impact the department by setting a clear direction for your team.

Qualifications
You have an academic degree within supply chain management combined with experience from the pharmaceutical industry and a GMP/GCP regulated environment. Alternatively, you are a pharmacist with strong experience within supply chain management. You have proven leadership and people management experience, preferably from line management. You have a proven ability to inspire and motivate others and to empower your team members to deliver high quality results. You are goal oriented and through your strong analytical skills you can identify, plan and overview many parallel business processes and prioritise the most value adding initiatives and ensure their implementation. Your personal leadership style is characterised by accountability, integrity and personal engagement.
