About the department
You will lead, coach and develop 13 very dedicated academics and technicians. You will become part of Biopharm QC Microbiology, which is organisationally part of Biopharm Aseptic Production. We carry out all of the microbiological analyses on in-process tests, bulk, finished products, raw materials, environment and new products from all of Biopharm.
The job
You and your team’s objective are to ensure that the classical microbial analytical methods are performed according to schedule and in compliance with GMP and corporate standards. You focus on enabling your team to deliver timely quality results, and sometimes this means that you participate in systematic problem solving yourself. You continuously follow up on the team’s performance and manage board meetings to provide a complete overview and coordinate the tasks at hand. The job invites you to collaborate closely with the Management team as well as QA functions and department customers. In this job you can make a difference and not only realise your own leadership potential but also the site’s 2014 strategy. You report to the Head of Department.
Qualifications
You have a solid education in science, supplemented with particularly extensive experience in microbiological analysis with one/several companies working in compliance with GMP requirements. Naturally, you take an interest in people management, and your CV mirrors a minimum of 2 years’ managerial experience. You know the value of earning trust and respect from colleagues, and you thrive in a role where you contribute with hands-on assistance when needed. In addition, you have experience with change management. You have a structured approach to your work and are capable of maintaining the general view. So you have to be a person who thrives in a busy and constantly changing workday. You also need to be capable of contributing with ideas for optimising procedures.
