Pharmacokinetics Senior Scientist

- Research & Development
- Denmark - Måløv

Do you want to use your experience with pharmacokinetics to be an integral part of the development of new therapies for the treatment of diabetes, inflammation and haemostasis? Then come and join our department, Development DMPK.

About the department
We are a highly motivated team striving to provide and integrate state-of-the-art non-clinical and clinical Drug Metabolism and Pharmacokinetics data from late-stage discovery and throughout clinical development. Together with other departments in the Non-Clinical Development organisation we prepare for and contribute to non-clinical and clinical testing of new drug candidates coming from the diabetes and biopharmaceuticals research units. For projects in clinical development we are closely collaborating with clinical pharmacologists, statisticians and medical directors to optimise the DMPK characterisation. The department currently consists of 14 scientists and 4 laboratory technicians working together in an open, challenging and cross-functional environment.

The job
You will prepare scientific strategies and design, conduct and report on pharmacokinetics studies on drug candidates. Collaboration with a variety of internal stakeholders in the R&D organisation as well as with Contract Research Organisations will be an integral part of your work. As part of interdisciplinary non-clinical and clinical project teams you will be responsible for delivering, interpreting and presenting pharmacokinetics data according to project timelines and provide input to regulatory documents.

Qualifications
A Master or Ph.D. degree in a DMPK-related field followed by at least 6 years of relevant experience from academia or the pharmaceutical industry is preferred. Experience with common pharmacokinetics software solutions, e.g. WinNonlin/Phoenix/NLME, will be an advantage as well as a broad knowledge of technologies and methods applied in DMPK studies. We expect you to be ambitious, self-motivated and to have the ability to maintain the overview of many simultaneous tasks. Excellent collaborative and communicative skills are required.

At Novo Nordisk, your skills, dedication and ambition help us change lives for the better. In exchange, we offer you an opportunity to work with extraordinary talent and benefit from a range of possibilities for professional and personal development.
