About the department
The position is located in Biopharm logistic, where we are app. 20 people responsible for planning al supply of existing and new Biopharm products from API through to final packaging for customers worldwide. The position is within the Project & Planning team who is responsible for planning of API and fill and furthermore keep oversight of the total supply chain.
The job
An important part of this position is to secure stable production through efficient supply chain management/planning for the Biopharm products, from API through to packaging. You will be leading the work in developing a stable supply chain. This includes complex analysis, developing and communicating production plans to decision makers at different levels in the organisation. You will be responsible for supporting management with detailed analysis for decision-making. Furthermore you will be in close collaboration with different stakeholders within Novo Nordisk (i.e. CMC, production sites, the central SCM organisation, purchasing etc.).
For the right candidate this position is an opportunity to become part of a highly dynamic planning team and get a steep learning curve into the Biopharm production set-up and product portfolio. The team is responsible for both the new products as well as the existing Biopharm portfolio and thereby you will get a wide exposure within Biopharm and Novo Nordisk since the position gives the opportunity to be involved in the total supply chain for all products and furthermore, the position holder will be part of some very important projects within Biopharm and Novo Nordisk.
Qualifications
You hold an M.Sc within Engineering, Supply Chain Management or other relevant educational background as well as 5-6 years of experience in a similar job within a production industry with a highly complex product portfolio – preferable from the pharmaceutical industry or other industries with high quality standards. You have demonstrated that you can hold clear oversight of a complex supply chain and that you can be a good sparring partner for management at all times. You are a highly skilled Excel user and experienced with SAP ECC/APO and SAP BW.
The position requires that you quickly get a deep understanding of the full supply chain, production set-up, complexity, stakeholder groups etc. Furthermore you have to have a high degree of flexibility to deal with all the unforeseen challenges. Therefore it is important that you can easily manage high complexity, illustrate an analytical and structured approach to problem solving as well as find it naturally to develop strong working relations to stakeholders at all levels in the organisation.
