We are looking for an experienced financial controller with solid knowledge of SAP, accounting and investments.
About the department
Financial Accounting is part of CAS (Corporate Accounting Services), a department in Corporate Finance at Novo Nordisk. We handle accounting for NNAS, the parent company, global reporting of investments and trade receivables, as well as budgeting and settlement of royalty expenses.
You will be part of a dynamic team of accounting specialists responsible for delivering high-quality financial reporting to top management – with the opportunity of developing a broad spectrum of finance skills and of gaining extensive knowledge of the business.
The job
As Financial Controller you will be part of the month-end closing of NNAS as well as processes related to investments, and work closely together with our colleagues in India and the global finance organisation. Regarding investments, you will guide Line of Business in how to transform accounting policies into practice, and you will work in close cooperation with other finance units throughout our organisation.
The department continuously works on optimisation of processes with the aim of improving performance and results.
Because we aim to be true business partners by linking finance with business development, we expect you to invest significant time and effort in understanding the business environment in which Novo Nordisk operates.
Qualifications
We expect you to have solid experience with SAP, accounting and investments. Most likely, you also have a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in accounting, finance or similar. Furthermore, you have strong analytical skills, an engaging personality and show strong responsibility for your tasks and projects.
Combined with your strong communication skills and good sense of humour, these traits allow you to contribute proactively to our team with ideas and initiatives. In addition to being fluent in written and spoken English, you should also be a proficient user of IT tools and ready to invest both time and effort in your personal and professional development.
