About the department
The Department of Oral Formulation Research is located in Måløv in the Diabetes Research Unit. Our department has 10 scientists and 10 laboratory technicians organised in two teams. This position is in the Analysis and Preformulation team that works with various methods of analysis for oral formulations. Our ambition is to develop products with orally available versions of insulin and GLP-1.
The Job
Your responsibility will be experimental analytical work on oral solid formulations, especially dissolution and HPLC / UPLC. Additionally you will be involved in other relevant analytical techniques such as water determinations, solubility studies, and DSC measurements. You will be collaborating closely with the laboratory technicians and scientists in the team. You will spend most of your time in the laboratory conducting analysis; however, you will also be responsible for processing and reporting the obtained data. The results of the analysis conducted are reported in English using electronic notebooks. In the team, the planning of the daily work involves the use of a planning board.
Qualifications
You have an education as laboratory technician, bachelor in pharmacy or equivalent. Practical experience with analysis of oral formulations especially dissolution will be an advantage. You work in a structured manner and have a strong focus on quality of your work while you enjoy an informal tone and working closely in teams. Since we work in an international atmosphere you have to speak English fluently and report analysis results in English. On a personal level, you thrive with a high degree of flexibility where assignments sometimes are of repetitive nature and other times of diverse nature both types with clear deadlines You have a positive attitude and contribute to a good work climate.
