About the department
Every day we execute significant purchases and ensure optimum procurement in large investment projects world-wide. We purchase from complete green-field pharmaceutical factories and critical production equipment to consulting services for approximately DKK 3bn annually. Our department consists of 15 employees from different nationalities, and we have an engaged and people focused culture.
The job
Our new colleague will get the responsibility of managing procurement of a wide range of technical equipment, create new -and optimise existing- frame agreements with our key suppliers and create and maintain project procurement plans when assigned to one of our investments projects. Further tasks will be to execute tender processes, clarification and evaluation of bids, terms & conditions negotiations and contract preparation.
In addition, and as an important part, you will be executing a range of analytical works in SAP, Excel and our supplier management system, Ariba, with the purpose of harvesting further procurement benefits. You aslo support your colleagues and management with ad hoc tasks.
Having an analytical mind-set, you continuously keep track of progress and results. You contribute to continuous improvement of our department’s activities by feeding key learning and knowledge to your colleagues and thereby improving our processes and systems.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate with a couple of year’s procurement experience preferably from the pharmaceutical industry, other complex industries or alternatively with a consultancy background. It is highly important to have a great and keen interest in all aspects of professional procurement.
The ideal candidate is structured, focused and result-oriented and possesses strong analytical skills. Good general IT skills are essential and preferably you are also an experienced SAP user with expert Excel and PowerPoint skills.
We also appreciate fast and efficient execution of tasks balanced well with an eye for details and the ability to handle many tasks at the same time. Great people skills are a necessity together with business English at a high level. Relevant educational background is likely at master level.
