About the department
As an intern you will be part of IT Project Execution, a competency centre within the global IT organisation with several specialised IT departments. IT Project Execution is part of an inspiring community with around 400 skilled and dedicated IT professionals who are responsible for all major IT projects and systems in Novo Nordisk, but your assignment will bring you in contact with various business areas and HR departments in Novo Nordisk. You will have ample opportunity for professional sparring and best practice exchanges in your daily work. The intern position is based in Bagsværd, Denmark.

The job
In the IT organisation we want to create more governance, structure and strategic alignment in the way we do people development. In the role as intern you will support the management team in revisiting the current competence development structure and address strategic questions on how to create a competence management set-up going forward. You will be a key contributor in developing a concept with defined competence development tracks from hire to retire for the various roles in the IT organisation. Together with the management team, you will therefore be key in developing a concept for how competence development can be organised going forward, and the subsequent implementation hereof. Daily tasks in the role as intern will be to perform targeted literature searches, process workshops, handle communication with key stakeholders, and perform analysis of the current competence development set-up for all job profiles, etc. You will have great opportunity for influencing on your own assignments.

Qualifications
We are looking for an intern who is passionate about competence development, training and lifelong learning methodologies. You are currently studying on your master’s degree in cand.merc.sol., cand.merc.HRM. or other relevant field such as Adult Learning or Lifelong Learning. General knowledge of competence development, learning management systems, and key methodologies (organisational analysis, literature reviews, business cases and research) is preferred. The ideal candidate has a “can-do” attitude and is excellent in translating theoretic concepts into concrete plans and actions. You have good communication skills and a genuine desire to collaborate across boundaries. You have a well-structured approach to your tasks, take responsibility, and you are eager to contribute to the continuous development of the area of competence development in the global IT organisation in Novo Nordisk. You have a high level of independence and pro-activity as well as a quality mind-set. You are fluent in English, both written and orally, and you have good computer skills. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning.

practicalities
Qualification: Students in their first or second year of their master studies.

Period: The internship position is a full-time position for 4-6 months.
