About the department
Sales & Operations Planning is overall responsible for balancing supply/demand on a 2 year horizon. We are responsible for creating maximum supply chain transparency across Product Supply supported with various supply chain tools, KPI’s & reports. Sales & Operations Planning works out of Bagsværd, with occasional visits to the sites in- and outside Denmark.
The job
You will be part of a department responsible for central S&OP, ensuring continuous high delivery performance. You will be involved in developing supportive planning tools and KPIs that support our end-to-end Supply Chain performance and as well be responsible for supply chain management reporting. You will participate in development, validation and maintenance of reliable systems and tools used for measuring and analysing our supply chain, - currently based upon data warehouse/frontend systems. You will be in contact with our many stakeholders throughout the supply chain, ensuring that we have the best possible systems and tools. You will play a vital part in combining system development with business understanding.
With this position you get an excellent opportunity for getting hands on experience with the Novo Nordisk supply chain and build unique business knowledge.
Qualifications
You hold a master’s degree within a relevant business or IT education. You have high analytical skills, are very confident with data retrieval, analysis and reporting and a flair for inventing and developing simplified and high quality tools. Furthermore you master the ability to think through highly complex data and challenging content, source and availability.
You have experience with SAP/SAP BW, databases and reporting services and are able to combine IT and business knowledge.
You write and speak English fluently. You work independently, take responsibility and it is natural for you to build network and create relations. You are respected for your results, commitment and attitude to problem solving. You are energetic and ambitious.
