In Operation QA we are looking for an enterprising and dedicated mechanic/polymer/machine engineer who will be responsible for the quality assurance of the components for our high volume medical devices worldwide.
Your job area will be within the fields of advanced injection moulding and springs for medical devices. Our suppliers are located in Europe, USA and Brazil.
About the department
Our department consists of three teams: Supplier QA, Projects & Manufacturing QA. 17 highly qualified QA engineers are responsible for the quality of springs, plastics and metal components produced internally and by Novo Nordisk suppliers. 9 dedicated QA supporters. 5 are responsible for the quality and complaints handling in connection with our suppliers and customers and 3 are responsible for daily release.
The Job
With support from your colleagues and in close dialogue with the Process Owners, DMD and Procurement you will independently be responsible for the quality assurance of our plastic components and you will have daily contact to our suppliers and customers. In your responsibility lays tasks such as, establishment and maintenance of quality agreements and external follow-up including the handling of change requests, deviations and to ensure continuous improvements. Your role is also to ensure continuous improvement, attend operational business reviews and promote sharing better practice at your supplier and across all moulding suppliers.
We expect you to have a yearly travel frequency of about 30-40 days. Quality Mindset and winning culture are incorporated concepts of our daily work.

Qualifications
You are goal-oriented, have empowerment and take responsibility for your tasks. You are able to solve complex tasks by constructive communication based on your professional knowledge and understanding of quality without compromising patient safety. You have at least 5-10 years of experience within quality assurance. You have worked with injection moulding and/or metal and spring processes as well as contract suppliers in a global environment. You hold an academic degree in engineering within mechanic/machine/polymer or similar. You master English on a high business communication level (oral/written). The ideal candidate has experience in ISO13485, cGMP, validation and Lean.
On a personal level you are ambitious and have a great interest in developing yourself. You make a difference and by your dedicated and determined approach you complete your tasks in close cooperation with your colleagues. You are independent and not afraid to take initiatives. You have a good sense of humour.
