About the department
Sales & Operations Planning is overall responsible for balancing supply/demand on a 2 year horizon. We are responsible for creating maximum supply chain transparency across Product Supply supported with various supply chain tools, KPI’s & reports. Sales & Operations Planning works out of Bagsværd, with frequent visits to the sites in- and outside Denmark.
The Job
As Tactical Planner, you will be part of a newly established team responsible for the planning in SAP APO on a 2 year horizon. The tactical planning is vital, as it provides a robust and stable foundation for operational planning on sites, reducing amount of surprises by balancing the production demands with capacities and inventories.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure high quality planning done in SAP APO, including maintenance of relevant master data ensuring alignment with stakeholders such as production sites, purchasing and finance. You will be working closely with logistics functions on sites, challenging and validating input enabling you to prepare a robust strong tactical plan. Additionally you will be working with the S&OP team, highlighting the potential risks requiring management attention and decision making. Furthermore you will be involved in Supply Chain Projects striving for improving planning processes and systems.
The team will be responsible for global tactical planning for all sites and therefore part of the job will take place on the production sites to get the in-depth knowledge and having good collaboration.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant business education within Supply Chain Management and Logistics.
You have experience with Supply Chain Management and tactical planning, SNP (Supply Network Planning planning must be your motivation and drive. You have high analytical skills and are very confident with data retrieval, analysis and reporting. Experience with SAP ECC and SAP APO together with Novo Nordisk planning experience is an advantage. You must have good communication skills and you must be able to take action and act proactively in your daily work as well as building network and creating relations. You work independently, take responsibility and are respected for your results, commitment and attitude to your work and problem solving. You write and speak English fluently.
