About the Department
The mission of Quality Solutions is to provide excellent, global, business-critical support services to Novo Nordisk. These services are mainly to be defined by the customers and centred on satisfying business needs, hereby generating value for the business. Also, solutions are to be implemented and operated effectively in compliance with external requirements.
Quality Solutions is located at Novo Nordisk headquarters in Bagsvaerd. Quality Solutions deals with customers from affiliates and headquarters in Novo Nordisk. , and performs tasks in following main areas: Daily support, system releases, participation in projects and customer activities.
The job
Novo Nordisk is currently on a journey where we are aligning, optimising and automating our main quality management processes. You will be responsible for supporting the core of that journey which is our EtQ Reliance quality workflow platform. You will be in a key position not only to make this operate smoothly on a day-to-day basis but also by establishing and maturing the support processes for the future.
You will work primarily with 2nd level support of our EtQ Reliance applications, covering incident, problem, change and release management and support. You will be working in a dynamic field characterised by: applications already in production, applications just being handed over from development, applications which are still in development.
You, therefore, need to have strong problem solving skills and a flair for collaborating with many different people from different departments and vendors and consultancy agencies.
The first three to six months will, besides on the job training, include formal EtQ Reliance and eValidator training and close collaboration with the development project team to build process understanding and organisational network. Travel activities will be limited to 1 to 2 weeks per year.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate holds min. 2-5 years relevant IT experience covering specification, design, development, test/validation, implementation and maintenance of IT solutions in large organisations, and holds a relevant degree in for instance software engineering, economics, computer science, business administration or similar and has relevant business experience. Training in specific systems and processes in Novo Nordisk will be provided.
Knowledge and experience with quality management systems and ITIL processes (e.g. Incident, problem and change management) would be beneficial, and you should be selfdriven with the ability to work in a global team. High degree of flexibility and good interpersornal skills are also required, as well as ability in collaborating and communicating with external parties, primarily customers, vendors and consultants.
In addition, the right candidate also possesses the following technical qualifications: Java, C++, SQL, Python and XML. Oracle Db Server and windows understanding
Good communication skills, both written and oral (English) is a must.
