Requisition ID 43804BR<br/>Title MANAGER - LEARNING & TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS<br/>Job Category Human Resources<br/>Job Description Purpose<br/>This position is responsible for analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of technologies and curricula that enhance and support learning and development initiatives across the organization. Plans, diagnoses, and executes solutions based on industry best practices and organizational requirements. Manages learning technology systems and provides continuous support and ongoing evaluation to ensure business and user needs are met. Manages projects, vendors, resources and budget in support of organizational technology needs. Ensures course evaluation metrics are utilized for continuous improvement of projects to aid in the delivery of superior business and sales results.<br/><br/>Relationships<br/>Reports to the Director, Learning and Technology Solutions. Builds and maintains strong relationships with training leads and teams, HR business partners and management throughout the organization to design and deliver resources, strategies and initiatives that maximize and integrate superior cross-functionality. Primary contact with external vendors, including but not limited to, various hardware and software vendors, consultants, content experts and professional associations<br/><br/>Essential Functions<br/>DESIGN AND DELIVERY<br/>* Provide input into the overall eLearning strategy.<br/>* Develops, migrates and repurposes training materials into the most appropriate learning format/medium.<br/>* Interface with both internal and external resources for project support of e-learning initiatives.<br/>* Update training materials and objectives as needed, and ensures quality control of content and adherence to CVI guidelines.<br/>* Applies adult learning and instructional design principles when developing solutions.<br/>* Collaborates with key individuals throughout the organization to ensure in-depth understanding of business/customer needs and learning goals, and ensures that resources and systems are aligned with them.<br/>* Designs and develops programs, tools and processes in alignment with Talent Management training and line of business strategies and needs.<br/>* Interfaces on a regular basis with content owners and stakeholders from across the organization to identify, develop and deliver customized learning solutions.<br/>* Maintains understanding of current best practices relative to learning technology solutions and related instructional design principles.<br/>* Provides advice and guidance to non-technical staff on training program design, delivery and administration.<br/>* Responds to and resolves complex and difficult customer requests and concerns.<br/><br/>COORDINATION/DESIGN AND DELIVERY<br/>* Work with vendors to ensure integration of high quality vendor products.<br/><br/>PROJECT & VENDOR MANAGEMENT<br/>* Leads complex cross-functional (line of business, HR, IT) project teams in implementing key technology projects.<br/>* Develops and implements business plans for learning, performance and development technologies and curricula, including a consideration of resources (people, budget) and business implications (timelines, SOPs, training/communications).<br/>* Develops and measures the effectiveness and impact of tools, resources and systems by designing key metrics to maximize achievement of objectives.<br/>* Independently works with vendors to create service agreement, contracts and project plans, and manages vendor performance against goals.<br/><br/>Physical Requirements<br/>* 0-10% overnight travel required<br/><br/>Additional Information Qualifications<br/>* At least a minimum of 9 years of progressive responsibility for training/learning and/or learning technology<br/>* A Bachelor’s degree required (relevant experience and/or certification in specialized HR function may be substituted for degree, when appropriate); Advanced Degree in Instructional Design or Information Technology preferred.<br/>* Experience creating training using various authoring tools (e.g., Breeze, Articulate, Flash, HTML, Captivate) required.<br/>* Ability to provide effective solutions in resolving complex problems, displaying a high level of critical thinking skills<br/>* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.<br/>* Demonstrated ability to provide comprehensive support, guidance and recommendations, along with analytical and technical expertise<br/>* Experience providing consultation and support to challenging customers in area of specialty.<br/>* Minimum of nine years of experience in progressively responsible HR or IT roles, with at least four years specializing in elearning and development technologies.<br/>* Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and database systems (e.g., SQL).<br/>* Significant experience developing and managing educational programs with a strong instructional design background.<br/>* Solid knowledge of SCORM compliance.<br/>* Strong project and vendor management experience required Strong written and verbal communication skills.<br/><br/>Department HR - LEARNING & TECHNOLOGY SOLUTIONS<br/>Position Location US - Princeton, NJ<br/>City Princeton<br/>State/Provinces US - NJ
