Requisition ID 44985BR<br/>Title PROJECT SPECIALIST - GOVERNMENT REPORTING<br/>Job Category Compliance<br/>Job Description Purpose:<br/>The position is responsible for supporting daily operational activities related to the Compliance Department’s government reporting obligations (e.g. Aggregate Spend, Corporate Integrity Agreement (CIA), Risk Evaluation and Mitigation Strategy (REMS), etc.).<br/><br/>Relationships:<br/>Reports to the Associate Director, Government Reporting and Operations and works closely with Compliance management and other NNI key customer group(s). External relationships may include third party/external vendors, outside counsel, external consultants and government agencies and NNI Compliance Bangalore resources. This position has no direct reports.<br/><br/>Essential Functions:<br/>Supports the Director in raising awareness of the Compliance program and fostering accountability for compliance throughout the organization. Supports the coordination and timely reporting of all government requirements (e.g. CIA, federal and state reporting, REMS requirements, etc.). Including but not limited to: support Aggregate spend and IRO support, employee certifications process, status updates. Participates in remediation and corrective action activities as requested. Supports creation, tracking and updates to the annual government reporting plan. Creates and supports the coordination and tracking of the employee certifications related to government reporting requirements. Supports the creation and preparation of regular status updates to Compliance Department leadership. Supports with project planning related to government reporting requirements. Assists in department document organization, project management and tracking, largely related to government reporting requirements. Compliance Department website management as it relates to government reporting requirements. Responsible for tracking all policy and contract template updates as they relate to government reporting requirements. All Government reporting reports are tracked and readily available upon request. Responsible for budget support with respect to government reporting operational expenditures.<br/>Maintains understanding of laws and regulations, enforcement actions and evolving practices relevant to pharmaceutical compliance. Additional responsibilities with government reporting or departmental operational impact as assigned.<br/>Responsible for ensuring that Compliance senior management is informed of compliance issues in a timely manner.<br/><br/>Physical Requirements:<br/>0-10% overnight travel required<br/><br/>Development of People:<br/>Not Applicable<br/><br/>Qualifications:<br/>A Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred<br/>4+ years overall pharmaceutical, life sciences, or healthcare industry experience is preferred; 2+ years working in health care compliance or project management preferred<br/>Experience working with or under a Corporate Integrity Agreement preferred<br/>Must possess a general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical sales, marketing, and/or product related practices<br/>Must possess general knowledge and understanding of pharmaceutical industry regulations and guidelines (e.g. PhRMA Code, Federal Anti-Kickback etc.)<br/>Uncompromising ethics and high standard of personal integrity<br/>Exceptional planning and organizing skills<br/>Requires demonstrated cross-functional team facilitation experience<br/>Demonstrated ability to work under tight timelines with a strong attention to detail<br/>Superior communication skills<br/>Proficient in Microsoft Suite<br/>Proactively drives the local compliance program<br/>Builds and maintains strategic relations with internal and external stakeholders<br/>Communicates effectively with different audiences and in different contexts<br/>Department North America - Compliance (3a)<br/>Position Location US - Plainsboro, NJ<br/>City Plainsboro<br/>State/Provinces US - NJ <br/><br/>At Novo Nordisk, we know that driving change on a global level and improving treatment outcomes for people with diabetes and other chronic diseases begins here at home.
