Requisition ID 42837BR<br/>Title QC Analyst Analytical<br/>Job Category Quality<br/>Job Description<br/>This is a great opportunity to join the growing Novo Nordisk New Hampshire team as a QC Analyst, Analytical. This position conducts routine testing using analytical techniques. He/she exercises judgment and maintains a high level of compliance with cGMP’s. Normally receives no instructions on routine work, and minimal instructions on new assignments. May determine methods and procedures on new assignments and may provide guidance to lower level personnel.<br/><br/>Relationships:<br/><br/>Reports to QC Analytical Supervisor and works closely with the Analytical team.<br/><br/>Main Job Tasks:<br/><br/>* Conducts routine in process and release testing using various analytical techniques such as ELISA, HPLC and SDS PAGE following SOPs.<br/>* Reviews analytical trending data and writes reports summarizing the trends, independently.<br/>* Schedules laboratory work in conjunction with the laboratory supervisor.<br/>* Provides guidance to lower level personnel within the QC Analytical team.<br/>* Investigates and resolves issues related analytical assay failures, system deficiencies, deviations, and equipment / assay troubleshooting, independently.<br/>* Writes and executes assay test protocols and writes summary reports, independently.<br/>* Works in consultation with analytical analysts to perform method transfers.<br/>* Trains other analysts on test methods.<br/>* Assists with other routine laboratory activities. Performs routine laboratory activities, including peer data review, as needed.<br/>* Maintains, calibrates and troubleshoots equipment.<br/>* Updates and maintains trending files, and supports investigations.<br/>* Performs all job duties and responsibilities in a compliant and ethical manner and in accordance with all applicable healthcare laws, regulations and industry codes.<br/>* Incorporates the Novo Nordisk Way and 10 Essentials in all activities and interactions with others.<br/><br/>Physical Requirements:<br/><br/>* Ability to lift, independently, up to 35 pounds.<br/>* Can sit and/or stand for extended periods of time.<br/>* Travel:< 10%<br/><br/>Development of People:<br/><br/>* Assists with training and mentoring Junior and new team members.<br/><br/>Knowledge, Skills and Experience:<br/><br/>* Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a scientific discipline with a minimum of four (4) to eight (8) years related experience or a Master’s degree in a scientific discipline with two (2) to five (5) years of related experience.<br/>* Excellent analytical and writing skills are also required.<br/><br/>Department NNUSBPI - QUALITY CONTROL (2)<br/>Position Location US - Lebanon, NH<br/>City West Lebanon<br/>State/Provinces US - NH <br/><br/>At Novo Nordisk, we know that driving change on a global level and improving treatment outcomes for people with diabetes and other chronic diseases begins here at home.
