Title Analyst - Litigation Support

Job Description PURPOSE
The litigation support analyst is responsible for providing support to litigation team using various eDiscovery applications.
RELATIONSHIPS
Reports to a designated attorney. Assists designated attorney in the delivery of eDiscovery/litigation support services. Interacts with individuals in other NNI departments and affiliate companies. Also interacts with outside law firms, government agencies, and business entities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Runs day-to-day operations of all eDiscovery software platforms
• Coordinates collections, processing and production of electronic documents in connection with various litigations
• On own initiative, follows-up on outstanding issues and keeps attorneys informed of status
• Regularly handles highly confidential matters with discretion and judgment
• Conducts database searches – culling and extrapolating data using various methods (i.e., keyword searching, document relationships, date culling, privilege and responsiveness review, redaction, etc)
• Runs queries for document review
• Works with counsel and IT to compile data for eDiscovery (and hard copy discovery)
• Researches and employs best practices for collection and processing of documentation for eDiscovery. Recommends solutions when gaps are identified.
• Works and interfaces with IT to provide assistance on processes related to litigation support
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Approximately 5% overnight travel

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
• A Bachelor degree is preferred
• Minimum 4 years of IT or eDiscovery experience
• Legal or paralegal background a plus
• Knowledge of e-discovery software applications (eVault, Clearwell and IBM Atlas) a plus
• Strong computing skills
• Preference given to candidates with experience using eDiscovery applications
• Legal or litigation experience preferred; paralegal certification a plus
• Ability to describe complex technical concepts and ideas in non-technical terms
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and manage varying priorities and projects
• Strong analytical, technical and problem solving skills to diagnose and resolve problems
• Strong sense of urgency and dedication to providing client service
• Must be able to gather and analyze information and requirements skillfully
