Then you might be the person we are looking for in the Operations Support Team in department Biopharm Aseptic Production Support HAC, site Gentofte.

About the department
Biopharm AP Filling HAC is an aseptic filling department with approximately 200 employees, which produces biopharmaceutical products. The production involves cleaning, formulation, filling, freeze drying, capping and inspection, and is characterized by complex processes, backed up by employees with a high degree of competence and commitment.The department is divided into teams, each having their own area of responsibility. The Operations Support Team is a support function for the production, which undertakes technical work as being equipment responsible for all the equipment within the department.The team consists of 14 employees, mainly engineers and includes a freeze drying group consisting of 5 employees, who have the responsibility for all freeze drying equipment in the department, but also other types of equipment.

The job
You have, in collaboration with you team colleagues, the overall responsibility for the production equipment and compliance with cross functional procedures. You will initiate continuous improvements and drive systematic problem solving related to equipment in close collaboration with the maintenance team.As a part of daily operation you will support / optimize the production, together with the team’s 14 other Engineers. This includes trouble shooting, support to the production, handle non-conformities and change requests, updating of documentation and SOP´s etc. You will also take part in projects in connection with changes / optimization of existing equipment, and in connection with new equipment. Your working day will be varied and at times hectic, as stable equipment is essential for carrying out production. The work will take place in close dialogue with many employee groups both in the department and outside. After a thorough training you will be a part of the freeze drying group on-call duty plan every 5th week.

Qualifications
You hold a degree in engineering or have a similar scientific education, backed by a minimum of 4 years’ practical experience from aseptic production, and if you have experience on freeze drying and capping equipment it would be an advantage. In addition, you have significant experience with pharmaceutical processes and equipment, and you have worked with aseptic processes in a GMP production environment. You therefore understand the regulatory environment, and ensuring compliance is a part of the way you work. As a person you can stay focused in a sometimes busy working day and you always approach tasks and colleagues with a positive attitude and energy. You have a strong quality mind-set, meet your deadlines, and know how to prioritise between different tasks in a dynamic environment. Being open minded and positive you are a natural relation builder with people across organisational levels, geography and culture. To succeed it is also crucial that you thrive on working independently as well as part of a team. Finally, you have a high level of English, written and spoken.
