Job Description PURPOSE:
This position is responsible for providing support to the execution of all Institutional contracts, particularly in the area of membership and eligibility.

RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports directly to the Manager of Institutional Contracts. Frequent internal communication and collaboration with the Chargeback Team. External relationships include Customer Service Departments; U.S. and Puerto Rico wholesalers; contract customers, including Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), federal, and others.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Communicates eligibility results to internal and external stakeholders including but not limited to Institutional Contracts, Master Data Management,Chargebacks and wholesalers.
• Investigates the eligibility of entities to receive GPO contract prices through research into various databases (by following Novo Nordisk class of trade guidelines).
• Maintains membership lists for commercial and government GPO’s with contract eligibility status included.
• Monitors and processes class of trade scrubs in the Government Pricing system. Communicates with Government Pricing manager and I.T. where necessary.
• Monitors membership eligibility to ensure entities are linked to the appropriate contracts. .Conduct market share moves of customers on a quarterly basis.
• Research eligibility requests from external customers including, but not limited to wholesalers, field sales, GPOs, customers, etc.
• Reviews bid awards to ensure updates are accurately reflected in the system and communication sent to the customer.
• Reviews weekly new account listings and assigns the correct Class of Trade categories. Ensure COT categories are assigned properly and in line with contractual agreement and NNI COT definitions.
• Collaborates with specialists to ensure membership compliance with the contract.
• Creates new customers in collaboration with Master Data Management.
• Participates in the COT Exception Review Process.
• Maintains compliance with Controls.
• Researches and analyzes membership anomalies and bring forward trends relating to membership.
• Runs reports on internal systems.

KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
• Bachelors degree preferred; relevant experience may be substituted for degree, when appropriate.
• Requires a minimum of 1-2 years relevant experience.
• Attention to detail and ability to multi-task required.
• Effective personal time management and organization skills a must.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in navigating through various websites.
• Knowledge of contracting in the pharmaceutical industry preferred.
• Ability to interact with all levels within the organization.
• Title and grade are commensurate with experience.
