Jobbet

What has surprised you?

Join the Novo Nordisk Global Development Graduate Programme and get a life-changing career.

If you are ready to discover just how far your talent can take you, we invite you to explore our Global Development Graduate Programme. Global Development employs more than 800 people across a number of different project and functional areas in Denmark and internationally. In Global Development we are responsible for developing new products from the early clinical phases through to market authorisation. Our graduate programme is a solid platform for a unique opportunity for getting your university degree off to a great start.

Scope of the programme
The two-year programme will consist of three rotations in different parts of the Novo Nordisk organisation whilst anchored in the Health Economics & HTA skill area within Global Development. One of the rotations will take place outside of Denmark in one of our affiliate or regional offices giving you invaluable exposure to international application of health economics in the pharmaceutical industry. The aim of the Health Economics Graduate Programme is to develop people through extensive practical health economic work with a strong focus on competencies such as analytical skills, communication, and project management skills.

You will be given a broad range of responsibilities and experience a variety of projects from cross-departmental project work and internal/external stakeholder management and have assignments within identification of needs, specific analyses, reporting and potential publication of major findings.

Whilst taking on a broad variety of responsibilities, you will enjoy the privilege of being part of both formal and informal graduate networks. This will allow you to broaden your learning even further, while building your opportunities and relationships across the company.

The job
The Health Economics Graduate Programme is tailored to ensure your full personal and professional development, accelerated by prioritised training and dedicated coaching from experienced colleagues.

The programme comprises three rotations during a two-year period between Health Economics & HTA in Copenhagen, a Health Economics and Outcome Research related department in a non-headquarter office (e.g. USA, UK, China, or other), and a Health Economics & HTA stakeholder (e.g. Global Stakeholder Engagement, Global Marketing, or other).

The first rotation will be in a health economic team in Denmark. The main purpose of this rotation is an introduction to the department’s areas of responsibilities and to gain hands-on experience. In addition to learning about the organisation you will assist our experienced staff in developing health economic strategies for one or more products and you will be getting experience conducting and managing health economic research projects.

The second rotation is in an affiliate or regional office. This is the rotation where the graduates get insight into health economics work from a local perspective related to use and communication of results to external stakeholders. This will give the graduates a unique international perspective and a better understanding of the collaboration and dynamic between Novo Nordisk headquarter and local markets.

The third rotation will most likely take place in Novo Nordisk headquarter in another health economic department than the first rotation. This will help build your network and showcase the importance of health economics within other areas in drug development and drug commercialisation.

At the cutting-edge of a highly complex and innovative industry, you’ll also need to be able to learn fast, be good at cross functional collaboration, and have the ability to communicate your great ideas well.

You must be prepared to invest significant personal effort in meeting expectations and proactively take ownership of your areas of responsibility.
