Are you interested in Supply Chain Management and data analysis? Can you handle large data sets and to identify business opportunities? About the department
You will join Shipping & Customer Service. We are 37 competent colleagues ensuring fast and reliable global import/export. As such, we live by the saying: Right quality, right time, right price.
The Job
As Business Analysis, you will have two main focus areas. One is to take charge of financial controlling of the shipping/distribution area in the Product Supply organisation. You will be the main contact person receiving all the invoices regarding shipping operations and will have the responsibility for controlling tasks like reporting, approvals, analyses, KPI monitoring etc. In that relation, you have contacts with finance departments from production sites in Denmark and abroad.
Your second focus area is to identify and initiate optimization projects within the distribution area based on your data analysis.. In relation with the establishment of a new shipping hub, you will have the key responsibility to set-up a structure for a cost center and ensure that all invoices are processed in a systematic and optimal way.
You will also contribute to the preparation of our worldwide shipping tender including price and supplier selection.
Qualifications
You have a masters’ degree within supply chain management, engineering, finance or economics. Ideally, you have experience from working with controlling within shipping and supply chain.
You bring top class analytical skills and the ability to turn data into business cases with focus on e.g. optimisations, cost efficiency, and delivery time. To succeed it is equally important that you thrive on having multiple contacts on a daily basis – in an ever changing environment. This requires an outgoing and positive approach as well as excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Drive and overview in order to meet agreed deadlines with high quality are other vital competencies needed.
At Novo Nordisk, you will be part of a company respected equally for its financial results and its business ethics. Across geographical, cultural and professional communities we develop and deliver innovative medicines.
