About the department
You will be part of NMS Quality at our site in Hjørring. We ensure a high level of product quality and GMP compliance at Novo Nordisk A/S pen needle production of NovoFine®, NovoFine® Autocover and NovoTwist®. We also participate in developing new device products.
The job
You will be responsible for managing a QA team of 11 highly skilled engineers and release assistants and through your leadership the team vouch for GMP compliance in QA aspects of existing processes and related development projects. More specifically, you are in charge of ensuring efficient release of products to market, compliance in the routine production and in the development and maintenance of the Quality Management System. You ensure support to audits at the site and at supplier sites in coordination with Quality Systems Surveillance and this means that you will have a great deal of contacts across the organisation. The job is diverse and full of opportunities to develop your quality and leadership skills. At the same time you will have room to fill the position in your own way and to leave your mark on the Quality performance of the site. You will be reporting to our Quality Director.
Qualifications
You are an engineer, a pharmacist or similar and you have extensive experience from the pharmaceutical industry, either within development of medical devices or quality assurance. In any case, your background has provided you with solid knowledge of GMP. You probably come from a position as a manager and your leadership skills enable you to head many different groups of personnel – academics as well as hourly paid employees. Perhaps because of your strong Quality mindset, you are exceptionally good at drawing the essence from a complicated situation and focusing on getting the right solution – and cooperate across geographical and disciplinary boundaries. Your positive and engaging attitude makes it easy for you to navigate between stakeholders and to make tough decisions that come with the area. To be successful in the role you also need good communication skills and high proficiency in both Danish and English.
